This is how you can legally install Google apps on your Huawei phone

Choosing a Huawei model when buying a mobile phone is directly proportional to the inability to use any of the Google applications.  The Chinese company is blacklisted by the United States and is not allowed to use any of the American multinational technology services.

However, there are a number of methods you can continue to use.  Some are not very recommended - even Huawei says - but there is another way you can use popular apps like Maps or Gmail.  It is also a completely legal process and easy to implement.

How do you use blocked apps?

Thanks to the browser, Google apps can be used without compromising device security

Applications, as such, cannot be used on a Huawei mobile phone.  However, websites can be accessed through a search engine.

With that clarity, you can create a shortcut on the home screen to direct you to the web version of any of the Google apps.  This way, it can be used comfortably without having to search for it in the browser.

To achieve this, it is as simple as following these steps:

Direct access to Google apps using the browser

      Access your Huawei mobile browser

Find the web (YouTube, Gmail, Maps...) that you want to add to the shortcut

      Click on the three dots

Click on the “Add to Home Screen” option.

Once these steps are performed, a shortcut will appear in the mobile main menu which will lead directly to the applications, in the desktop version, that have been selected.  The best thing is not to compromise the security of the device.
