Solution Dispatch or disconnect error in Modern Warfare

We are trying to enjoy a good Modern Warfare game and all of a sudden we encounter the error “Disconnected due to a transmission error”.  What can we do to fix it?  Don't worry, we have come to provide you with hours of screen fun and we will provide you several very effective solutions to stop dealing with this problem.

How to Fix Broadcast Error or Connection Drop in Modern Warfare

When this annoying error that spoils many games appears, a message like this will appear:

      Error

Disconnected due to a transmission error

      Status: strong

A little later, we will see different ways so that we can solve this annoying problem and continue enjoying the game normally.

  Scan and repair game files

Modern Warfare broadcast or disconnect error can be caused by corrupt, corrupt or missing game files.  In this case we must check the integrity of the files.

We open the Battle.net launcher and select Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Next, we will click on the settings icon, which is in the form of a gear.

Now we will go to the “Scan and Repair” option, a new message will appear and we have to select “Start Scan”.

Immediately, it will start scanning and repairing game files if necessary.  Here it will be important to have a little patience because the process takes some time.

Once the process is complete, we restart the game and check if the error has been fixed.

If we play Modern Warfare from Steam, the steps to follow are as follows:

We open Steam and go to Library from the menu bar.

We are looking for Modern Warfare and we will right click on it.

Next, we will select “Properties” and on the next page we go to the “Local Files” tab.

Here we will click on "Verify integrity of game files".

We wait for the process to finish, restart Steam and launch the game to check if the error has been resolved.

  Network driver update

If we constantly suffer from transmission error and live separate from Modern Warfare;  We can try to update the network console.

We can update network drivers through optional Windows Updates.

We can also visit the network adapter manufacturer's website and download the latest network drivers.

You can use Device Manager to update drivers

After updating the network drivers, we will proceed to restart the computer and check if the problem persists.

  Change DNS settings

Another possibility is that the error is caused by some DNS issue, which is provided by default by our ISP.  Fortunately, changing the DNS servers is very easy and Google provides us with their servers.

The first thing we will do is press Windows + R to open the Run window, we will type ncpa.cpl and hit Enter.

Now, we will right click on the network connection we are using and choose Properties.

In the next window, we click on “Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP / IPv4)” and then click on the “Properties” button.

Next, we will use the custom DNS, as preferred, we will enter 8.8.8.8 and as an alternative to 8.8.4.4

      Finally, we will press "Accept".

We wait a few seconds and then start the game to check if the problem persists or is it permanently fixed.
