 How to Mirror Android Phone Screen to TV

  We are in a family meeting or with friends and all of a sudden we want to show something we have on our devices, gathering people around us to see something on a small screen is not something very comfortable for us to say;  Although thanks to Android and Chromecast, it should not be a hassle, as we can mirror the screen of our Android phone to a TV.

  Before we get started, we have to make it clear that screen sharing may not be the best way to share content on TV.  Many video and photo apps allow us to "cast" to a Chromecast-enabled device, and this experience is infinitely more fun and secure.

  For this guide, we will need an Android device running 5.0 or later;  Also an Android TV or Chromecast compatible device.

  We will start with a very simple method, although it is not available on all devices.  We scroll down from the top of the device and then do it again so we can expand the quick setting keys.

  We'll look for the key labeled "Screen Cast" and click on it.

  Choose a device

  A list of devices will appear where we can mirror the screen.  If we see that our list is on the above list, we will choose it.

  We see a warning message, just click "Start Now".

  Now we will see the mobile phone screen on the receiver.

  Choose the device

  In the event that the “Screen cast” option is not available in the settings, we can duplicate the screen through the Google Home app available in the Play Store.  Once we download the app, we will open it on our device.

  At the bottom of the app, we'll tap "Send my screen."

  We see a new message explaining the information shown on the screen.  To get started, we click on "Start Now".

  Disconnect

  If we want to stop sending on the screen, we will have to slide our finger down from the top of the screen and press Disconnect on the send notification.
