  There are many apps that are not available on Play Store, that's why we have no alternative but to install APK on Android TV from alternative sources.  These TVs use the same operating system as your Android phone.  So we can download and install any compatible app in APK format without any kind of problem.

  The next step will be to download the APK file to our computer.  In this sense, there are many websites that offer us the possibility to download an infinite number of APK files from different applications.  Although we recommend doing it from a trusted website.

  Another thing we would like to recommend is to use Google Drive or Dropbox, we upload the APK file we download and then pass it to the TV using an app like ES File Explorer.

  Next, we will open the ES File Explorer app on Android TV and look for the option "Network" and then "Cloud".

  In the upper right corner we will have to click on “New” and choose the cloud platform we are using, in this case we will choose “Google Drive” or “Dropbox”.

  We proceed to sign in with your Gmail or Microsoft account and select the cloud storage that we will see on the screen.  We look for the APK file and click on it to start the download.

  Once the download is finished, a popup will appear, here the only thing left is to select "Install".

  It's also very handy if we want to do it from a USB stick.  We download the APK and connect the USB memory to the computer, and transfer the APK file to the USB device.
